   How to Register?

SMS

·            1) SMS “register1” to 34241 (R2.00 per sms sent)

·            2) Two SMSs are sent back to you. The first SMS will welcome you to CPanic and advise you of the costs involved etc. The second SMS will request of you, your preferred method of registration (SMS, Telephonic, Internet).

·            3) Reply to the second SMS with “SMS”.

·            4) A third SMS will be sent to you, requesting your details ie: Name, Surname, cell Contact 1, cell Contact 2, cell Contact 3, cell Contact 4.

·            5) Reply to this SMS with your details, separated with comma’s as shown in the example below. NB/ a minimum of One and maximum of Four Contact Numbers is required. Example John, Doe, 0821234567, 0831234567, 0841234567, 0711234567

·            6) You will now be sent your CPanic panic number. This is the telephone number that will be dialed in an emergency. You need to save this number to your telephone Contacts, and then you need to assign a speed-dial number to it.

·            7) To activate your CPanic registration, speed-dial your CPanic number.

·            8) A final SMS will be sent to you saying: “You have successfully registered with CPanic”

 

VODACOM/MTN users, please note: Your service provider will send you a further SMS requesting your permission for your cell phone to be tracked. Reply to that SMS with “Yes”.

Please note the following: The cost of your monthly subscription(R15) is automatically debited from your cell phone once per month. Contract owners will see this reflected in monthly statements. Air-time subscribers will have the fee debited from the airtime they load onto their cell phones once a month. Please note location based services are not available on the Cell C and Virgan networks.
